　　科恩的生平和經(jīng)歷，網(wǎng)上通過谷歌和百度都能查到，在此不再贅述。他特有的沙啞蒼老的嗓音、喃喃自語的低訴大概是最能吸引聽眾的一個原因。大約世界上只有他才能發(fā)出這樣富有磁力的、像黑洞般把人吸進去的聲音。鮑勃·迪倫曾說：“如果我必須當一分鐘其他人，那個人很可能就是科恩。”

　　他是詩人、民謠歌手、小說家。34歲出版第一張專輯《萊昂納德·科恩之歌》，在音樂的發(fā)展道路上差不多像個老頭子一樣了。他和鮑勃迪倫不同，他只寫詩寫歌，不關(guān)心政治，所有的語言都直接的表達內(nèi)心所想，不用華麗修飾，不用添加矯情成分，音樂因為他的詩而存在，唱他的歌如同讀他的詩品他的人。
